Social Current’s Federal Policy Agenda: Advocacy Workshop and Opportunities for Impact

This workshop is a pre-conference session of the SPARK 2022 conference.

In this highly engaging pre-conference session, participants will discuss the powerful role that the social sector plays in the federal public policy space and engage in workshops to enhance their advocacy skills.

The session will include an introduction to federal policy advocacy, an overview of Social Current’s 2022-2024 federal public policy agenda, in-depth exploration of key policy issues, and training on messaging and advocacy strategy. Skill-building activities, case studies, and small group discussions will be utilized to give participants the chance to hone their skills and interact meaningfully with colleagues from across the country.
