Advancing Equity in Adoption Through Innovative Provider Payments and Data-Driven Policy Changes

During this presentation, Social Current Strategic Industry Partner Public Consulting Group (PCG) will provide an overview of its work on two initiatives in Michigan to tackle systemic inequities in adoption. PCG will discuss factors instrumental this work’s success, which include effective collaboration, merging stakeholder feedback with quantitative analysis, a willingness to pilot novel rates, and the boldness to recommend concrete action to address systemic inequities.

Building on brain function research and behavioral science, this second session in the Translating EDI Practice to Implementation series will uncover common bias traps, what causes them, and what can work to reduce and/or eliminate them. Through learning, discussion, and interaction, participants will better understand their own biases and how to disrupt them and develop cultural competence in working across differences.

EDI Essentials for Supervisors: A Millennial’s Guide to Supervision and Exceling as a Leader

This interactive session, the second session in the EDI Essentials for Supervisors learning series, will provide participants with opportunities to identify supervisory challenges they are currently facing and applicable solutions to these obstacles. The goal of this training and information exchange is to improve personal and professional balance.

Advancing Equity Workshop: Fundamentals to Support Your Journey (July Session)

During this three-part virtual workshop, participants will learn and engage in a safe environment, where they can ask questions and share reflections with their peers. Using Social Current’s three-prong approach to EDI (Person, Organization and Systems), the presenters will encourage participants to develop a deeper personal EDI journey, to build an inclusive work culture, and to become more aware of the systems that impact us all.
